Gjøsæther has made a remarkable effort to showcase the cluster, establish new contacts, and create a larger network for the cluster's partners, says Svein-Olav Torø, CEO of Kongsberg Innovasjon.
It`s pleasing to continue our collaboration with Gjøsæther and Nordic Batteries in the cluster's exciting battery project BatNet, he adds.
The Kongsberg Technology Cluster is an EU-certified competence cluster with several partners from various industries in Norway. The cluster's goal is to strengthen the companies' competitiveness in the national and international markets and to facilitate sustainable technological solutions related to complex systems for the future.
I feel very privileged to be closely involved in the digital transformation. This job allows me to be close to the development of new expertise and new complex systems that can contribute to a more sustainable future, says Ole B. Hoen.
I am truly looking forward to working further on developing the cluster together with our partners and the cluster team, says Hoen.
Hoen has extensive experience and expertise in major technology companies, including serving as Global Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at GKN Aerospace. He is well acquainted with processes, technology, and value chains. Hoen holds a Master's degree in Science and has experience in several board positions, including Norsk Industri and K-Tech.
We are delighted that Hoen has embraced the position as Head of the Kongsberg Technology Cluster. Over the past year, he has worked on establishing a test and competence center under the auspices of Kongsberg Innovasjon, which is now both concrete and visible, says Torø.
I am confident that Hoen, with his experience from major global companies and the industry, combined with his unique leadership qualities, will contribute to taking the Kongsberg Cluster to the next chapter and implementing thoughts and visions for the future, says Torø.
